On 18 April 2018 the EMIF project, which has relevant links with GetReal, will hold the IMI-EMIF symposium on ‘Liberating Evidence from European Health Data – the Achievements and Challenges of a Five-Year IMI Project’ at Hotel Bloom in Brussels, Belgium.
During this one-day meeting a broad range of topics will be covered linked to the (re)use of health data among which its benefits and challenges, the consequences of the new GDPR, a patient’s perspective and a look will be taken into the future of the European healthcare ecosystem. There will be ample opportunities for networking bringing together stakeholders from other health data consortia like EPAD and ROADMAP, representatives from the IMI office, the European Patient’s Organization and many others. A high-level version of the agenda can be found here.
